Brian Sabo CRS, CFRS

Brian Sabo has been working in the field of recovery in a professional capacity since 2017, though he has been in recovery for over 10 years.  Brian had built up his first Recovery Center, Change on Main in Northampton County, from the ground up. Change on Main is now a pillar in the Borough of Northampton.  Brian currently is the Program Director of both the Hope Center and Change on Main.

As Director of multiply Recovery Centers, Brian has established and maintained countless programs, meetings, events, and outings for individuals affected by Substance Use Disorders.  He collaborates with other professionals to locate resources, including referrals for inpatient and outpatient treatments. His experience also includes mentoring individuals in various stages of recovery and those seeking to work in the recovery field.

A major focus of Brian’s work has been expanding Hope Center’s numerous programs. There are 22 full-time staff members that work out of the Hope Center, 19 of them are in recovery. The Hope Center averages approximately 550 individuals in recovery on a weekly basis.

Brian was the recipient of the PCB Board’s 2022 Professional of the year award and the 2021 Volunteer of the Year Award presented by Northampton County. He sits on numerous Opioid Task Forces in the Lehigh Valley and is on the PRO-A steering committee.

Prior to working in the Recovery field, Brian was a small business owner of a successful concrete company and, before that, a police officer in the Lehigh Valley.
