- Police Social Worker
LaSaundra McCoy is currently a Social Worker for the Bloomington Police Department. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University Purdue University (IUPUI) in 2020. She primarily worked with children and families through home based services. She has gained years of experience working with diverse populations during her 28 years of service working for Monroe County School Corporation’s Early Childhood Development program. LaSaundra has worked in the community through the Banneker Community Center. She was also a former Director for Campus Life Youth for Christ. She loves helping people so naturally she loves her position as a PSW.
